Synopsis
Amedeo, a young, shy but stubborn Milanese reserve officer, goes to Rome to obtain a private audience with the Pope. But his insistence and refusal to reveal the reasons for his request arouse the suspicion of the Vatican authorities, who will do everything to prevent him from achieving his goals. Amedeo will pass through the hands of a policeman, a far-right politician, a priest with modern ideas, only to systematically come up against a wall...
